Blacker House Chandelier

This work was a commission from Theodore Ellison to recreate the Blacker House Chandelier produced by the architects Greene and Greene around 1907-1909. I used the dimensions and two photographs to model this. I created the fixtures on the Matsuura MX330 5 axis Mill while milling the Chandelier itself on the DMS 36x 60x 60 5 axis router. I did not do the finish wood work or, of course the glass work on this. This was made out Sapele not Mahogany like the original. The first photo is the piece I created, then second photo is the original.
